Bangkok City Tour

Enjoy your morning meal at the hotel. Today's itinerary involves exploring two significant attractions in Bangkok. First, we'll visit the Reclining Buddha at Wat Pho—an immense reclining statue adorned with gold leaf. The second highlight is the Grand Palace, an essential destination for all visitors. We'll embark on a journey along the Chao Phraya River, also known as the River of Kings, and navigate the Thonburi canals. Another notable stop is at Wat Arun, one of Bangkok's most photographed landmarks. This grand shrine boasts a towering pagoda standing at 76 meters. Its adornment with glazed ceramic fragments creates a play of light resembling the sunrise, which contributed to its name. Please be aware that proper attire is required for this excursion (avoid bare shoulders, bare knees, or strapless heels). Remember to remove your shoes before entering any temple buildings.

Journey to Sukhothai

We depart for Sukhothai, Thailand’s first capital. Sukhothai, a revered UNESCO site, unveils Thailand's origins. Its ancient temples, Buddha statues, and architectural marvels echo a glorious past. A testament to artistry and spirituality, Sukhothai bridges history and modern admiration, inviting us to ponder the essence of an enduring and culturally rich civilization. On our way to Sukhothai, we’ll visit a local family at Ban Pra Phim and learn how to make Buddha amulets. An essential part of Buddhism in Thailand are the Buddha amulets, also known as votive tablets. These small amulets – usually with images of Buddha or monks – are considered to be powerful objects that can bring good luck and protection.
